Reqoop is a service designed for you and other users to publicly share fashion discoveries with each other. Any content you provide to us will be publicly available content.
PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING OR USING OUR SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND TO ALL THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND REQOOP’s TERMS OF SERVICE.
INFORMATION COLLECTION & USE
Registration Information. When you register for a Reqoop Account, you supply personal information such as your first and last name, email address, and zip/postal code. We use your first name and the initial of your last name to identify you publicly on our Services, including in the following areas: on your public profile page, attached to any photos that you share, and in lists of users. You may also choose to supply us with an avatar associated with your account.
Photos, User Content. The User Content that you share, including photos and photo metadata -- such as comments associated with photos and when and where the photo was taken and the location associated with the photo -- are publicly available information. By registering as a User of the Services and posting any User Content, you waive any privacy expectations with respect to such content. You should be aware that any Personal Information shared as user Content may be read, collected, or used by any person for any purpose. Additionally, we are not responsible and accept no liability for Personal Information that you choose to submit in public areas of Reqoop (ie. if you post your phone number in a comment field, it will be publicly available). If you do not wish to have your User Content viewed by or disclosed to others, please do not use Reqoop.
Location Data. Reqoop collects location data from users’ mobile devices in order to perform the location-based functions that are integral to our Services. We collect location-tracking information to display Rewards, boutiques and User Content close to you, verify your location for posting User Content, participating in Reqoop Rewards, or for other location-based features of the Services.
Reward Information. If you participate in a Reward, we may also collect information associated with participation in that Reward such as the name of the Reward, the time, date, and location of participation, and User Content and information provided in order to become eligible for the Reward. Participation in Reqoop Rewards is optional. If you win a Reward, we may ask for your name, phone number and shipping address in order to fulfill any prize(s). We will not use this information for any other reason than to fulfill the Reward.
Optional Social Network Information. You may also authorize sharing privileges with third-party social network accounts, such as Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare. By providing sharing privileges with social network accounts, Users can interact with friends and followers and share Reqoop activity through those social networks. When authorized and where available, Reqoop may use information from social network accounts to improve your Reqoop experience.
Usage Data. We may use web-tracking technology, such as cookies and “pixel tags” to track usage by Users in order to improve the User experience of the Services and provide personalization. Usage data collection may be used in order to recognize the Users, analyze user traffic, and provide personalized advertisements.
Aggregated Information. We may track and analyze usage and volume statistical information from our Users to form general summaries of the activities of our Users to understand the interests of our Users. We may disclose or share this aggregate information with Partners, Affiliates and Advertisers for promotional purposes, or to improve the Services. This publication does not include any Personal Information, nor is it reasonably likely that you would be personally identified through the providing of this information.
Usage of Personal Information. We use Personal Information to provide and improve the Services, personalize your experience, provide you with software updates and/or Reward Alerts, provide you with further information and offers from us that we believe you may find useful or interesting, such as targeted advertising and promotional campaigns, and to administer Rewards. We may also use Personal Information to troubleshoot, resolve disputes, accomplish administrative tasks, contact you, enforce our agreements with you, including our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy, comply with applicable law, and cooperate with law enforcement activities.
INFORMATION SHARING & DISCLOSURE
We will not share Personal Information about you with anyone else except to provide the Services, when we otherwise have your permission, and as set forth above or under the following circumstances:
Service Providers. We may employ or partner with Third Party companies and individuals to facilitate our Services, to provide the Services on our behalf, to perform Services-related support (for example and without limitation; maintenance services, database management, web analytics and improvement of the Services' features) or to assist us in analyzing how our Services are used. We may have to allow these Third Parties access to your Personal Information in so far as such information in necessary for them to perform their duties and allow continuation of the Services. Such Third Parties will be obligated not to disclose or use Personal Information for any other purpose.
Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement. We reserve the right to disclose information in order to cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to comply with the law, or within our discretion as is reasonable to protect the rights and safety of Reqoop or any Third Party.
Business Transfers. We may sell, transfer or otherwise share your Personal Information in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of our company (or our assets) or in the event of our bankruptcy.
Opt-In to Partners. Reqoop may partner with Third Parties to provide unique promotions, content ore Rewards through the Services. We may offer our Users the opportunity to register through the Reqoop Services to receive communication from these Third Parties directly. In some cases, participation with a Third Party will involve the sharing of Personal Information with Third Parties. Such occurrences will only be offered on an “Opt In” basis. Users will always be notified if Reqoop would like to share Personal Information with Third Parties and will never share Personal Information without the express permission of the User.
Links to Other Sites. This Privacy Policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. Other websites linked through our services, either by Reqoop (through link or advertisement) or by other users, are governed by their own Privacy Policy and may have their own data collection and disclosure practices. It is your responsibility to review the Privacy Policies and Terms of Services for of any Third Party. We are not responsible for the policies or practices of third parties. We do not make any representation as to any aspect of their Services and accept no liability for your use thereof.
PRIVACY OPTIONS & OPT-OUT
Modifying Personal Information & Preferences. Registered Users of Reqoop can manage and modify personal information in the “Settings” section of the Website or the “Me” section of the Application. If you’d like to change information that cannot be modified in the Settings section, please contact us at support@reqoop.com and we will make the change for you.
Deleting Account. If you would like us to delete your Account, please contact us and we will delete your account within 45 days. We reserve the right to maintain any records that we deem necessary to protect our or the rights of others, to prevent harm to persons or property, or to fight fraud.
Notifications and Emails. Any user who receives notifications and emails from Reqoop may Opt-Out in the future by following the instructions in the communication or by making changes in your account “Settings” section of the Website or the “Me” section of the Application. We will take commercially reasonable steps to implement your opt-out requests promptly, but you may still receive communications from us as we process your request.
Notice of Privacy Rights to California Residents. California law requires that we provide you with a summary of your privacy rights under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (the “Act”) and the California Business and Professions Code. As required by the Act, we will provide you with the categories of Personal Information that we collect through the Services. If you are a California resident, you have the right to receive information regarding any Third Parties to whom Reqoop may have disclosed Personally Identifiable information and a description of the categories of such information that may have been disclosed. OTHER TERMS
Children's Privacy and Parental Controls. The Services are not directed at children. Please do not use Reqoop if you are under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13 and will delete such information from our files. Children between the ages of 13 and 18 years of age cannot become a registered user without parental permission. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, please contact us. International
International Service Visitors from Outside the United States. Reqoop and its servers are located in the United States and are subject to the applicable state and federal laws of the United States. If you choose to access or use the Service, you consent to be subject to such laws to the use and to disclosure of information as stated in this policy.
International Transfer. Your information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. To the extent possible and legally permissible, we shall endeavor to act in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, Reqoop may transfer your Personal Information to the United States and process it there. Your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
AGREEMENT AND CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
By using the Services, you agree to the current Terms of Service, including by incorporation this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Privacy Policy updates will be posted on the website and emailed to you. By continuing to use the Services, you indicate that you agree to be bound by the updated terms. If the modified Privacy Policy is not acceptable to you, your only recourse is to cease using the Services.
